I am Keerthi from India; I was pregnant when my husband told me that he is not going to take care of us. We had a big argument and he then he walked out on me. This was a big shock to me and I didn’t know how to plan my life. I used to be a biotechnologist but left my job for good when I fell pregnant.
I felt this situation very difficult to handle, but eventually had to get to grips with my situation. I soon gave birth to a lovely daughter and she gave me the confidence to work from home because I didn’t want to leave my 10 day old daughter anywhere or with anyone.
Working from home was my only choice and luckily a US based company gave me the option of working from home. The work was market research and competitive intelligence which earned me enough to support my family. This also gave me some much needed confidence and peace of mind as I was able to look after my daughter and also earn for her and me.
My job made me a confident mother and during the free times I started to sew fur dolls and toys which became really popular. For sewing dolls what you need is some card cuttings of the toy, furs of different colours and stuffing material. Not big investments to make but you need to have some creativity and patience. But once it catches up you are going to be paid for your ideas. But you need to take care that once the fur is cut it should not be inhaled by your kids especially when they are very small.
I think that I was an unlucky person, who was betrayed by my husband. I was lucky enough to get a work from home job through the internet from a reputable company and a job which was a gift for my creativity. I would like to say when you hope and look at life with good confidence you can achieve what you want in this world.
