Franchise Business - Play Pre- School is Rewarding.
by Mark
Hi, I am Mark - I helped my Aunt setup a play/pre-school at her home. She stays alone in a medium sized bungalow with a large back yard. Living alone and knowing she was a very kind hearted/loving person - I suggested she start a play school - this would not only give her a source of income, but keep her occupied. She loved the idea and we got in touch with EuroKids - they are one of largest provider for pre-school education.
EuroKids offered a unique franchise concept which provided us with complete know-how to build and operate a successful Pre School. We had to make an investment of 10,000 USD and for this we got materials like tables, chairs, learning aids, play equipment for 30 kids.
As my aunt is a senior citizen we went for a model where the provider took care of all aspects from hiring, training, marketing, advertising, IT system. My aunt was expected to just oversee the operations.
But as with any business - the owner’s involvement only increases with time and my aunt would step in - when staff were on holiday. I could see the satisfaction and sense of achievement my Aunt had to run her own pre-school. She no longer stayed at home and could be seen at all family events - sharing parenting tips :-) and marketing her pre-school.
This franchise can be rewarding especially if you love children. Money should not be the only motive to start a pre-school. I think because of this my Aunt has done very well.
