Offline Stomp Out Leads to Online Business

I remember so clearly the day I really "began" my online business. I was 60+ years old, with a masters degree and a career stuffed full of great experiences. I was also working as a receptionist, since that was the only job I could get at my age. I didn't even work for very nice people. One morning, after one insult too many, I literally threw the phone across the room, stomped out, and never turned back.
There I was. No job. No reference. No prospects. Except ...
About two years previously I had begun my part time online business, a website that I worked on, mostly weekends -- Business Plan Master. When I stomped out, I knew I had to kick that website into high gear. And fast.
I was truly blessed at that point to be invited by Ken Evoy, the head of SiteBuildIt (my web host) to be one of ten coaches at the one and only SBI Bootcamp. Wow. What an experience. I came home so jazzed that I decided to add a website coaching component to my business, and along came Your SBI Coach.
I have been a truly happy camper ever since. Working for lousy people was the best thing that ever happened to me. Well, second best. Finding SBI was The Best Thing. I now work at home, with all the amazing benefits of having an online business at home. And I get to help people too. And I make a decent living.
I'm just not "old" any more. I am embarking on a fascinating new career. If I had a wish for all it would be: May you be as happy in your career as I am in mine.
