hi sorry if this question has already been posted.

i am thinking of starting a jacket potato stall. to trade at local carboots initially. i need a food & hygeine certificate. well i have seen courses advertised on the internet for as low as £25. they say you study at home and take the exam at home. which would be very convenient and cost effective. but i just wondered if these certificates are valid in business. can anyone advise. thanks

Online Food and Hygiene Course Should Be Okay but Do Check It Out

Hi Paul,

I have to say that I am not sure about this one, but I would not be that surprised if this is the case.

hen I took the course the food and hygiene course a trainer attended my house to give me and a friend this course. It did not take that long from what I can recall a lot of the questions were common sense.

If your unsure why not attend a local collage or do some checks to see if this online version will be suitable for you.
