The Pampered Chef is a Great Small Business For Any Stay At Home Mom or Dad!

My name is Kandina Bernhard. My husband lost his job and started his own business in July of '08. At this time, I was about 4 months pregnant and had quit my job. His business didn't take off as well as we had hoped, so he started looking for a job.

With the economy down (we live within 10 minutes of the city with the highest unemployment rate) and there were no jobs. Finally, in March of '09, a friend told me about The Pampered Chef. At that time, though I wanted to help financially with income and bills, we did not have the money to purchase the New Consultant kit.

In July, I was still looking for a way to help, and my friend told me that the company had a mini kit for half the price. I have always wanted to be a stay-at-home-mom, but at this time, it was looking like I would need to go back to the work place if I could find something.

Thanks to my friend, I was able to remain at home with my son. We were so far behind in our bills, that every penny mattered to us. We are still behind, but slowly, we are catching up, and I have THE PAMPERED CHEF to thank for that.
Starting out, I made 20% commission on all my sales. I don't have to keep products on hand like Mary Kay or Avon and some other companies. The more products I sell a month, my commission raises.

I also receive Pampered Chef Dollars (money to purchase products or supplies like order forms, catalogues, etc) for submitting shows and sales. This really helps, because the money isn't coming from my pocket.

Everyone I have talked to loves The Pampered Chef and is willing to help me out with my business. They either do a cooking show, catalogue show, or they purchase. Many of them even recommend a friend that might be interested in a show. I never liked getting in front of people and being the centre of attention. However, at my cooking shows, I don't feel like I am in front of anyone...I know that I am.

As soon as my guest walks into the room, I hand them a catalogue and let them know that they can look through it while I am doing my demonstration.

I tell them this because:

1) It keeps their attention on the products and catalogues, and not on me.

2) It allows the show to go faster and people can get on with their evening sooner because by the time I am done with my demo they have already decided what they want to purchase.

HERE'S THE BEST PART: you don't have to even like cooking or baking to be a PC Consultant! Most of your guests will want to try the products and are more than happy to help with the recipes. Your products sell themselves...it is so easy AND you get paid to party!

If you are thinking about becoming a PC consultant, don't wait...start today and you can receive your first check in just a few weeks!!!!
I have benefited greatly from The Pampered Chef, and so has my family. I want to help you benefit and help your family financially. You will be so glad that you signed on with the PC!
ENJOY!
