The Possibility of Losing Everything Including My House

I have been on a pitch for over 8yrs with a contract and have now been told to move off within 2weeks or go to court.

With out this snack van I will lose my house and everything with it. I have all ways maintained the land and kept it clean and also got rid of all my own rubbish at my expense.

I also took a lot of the rubbish from the local shops to help them out as well.

I have never been told that I was not to be there, or to move on or that I have no legal right to be their. At this stage I don’t know what to do. Have you any ideas or can you help me?

Stand Your Ground - Fight For Your Business

I am no expert but I think you should take your contract to a solicitor to verify the contents and to find out if what your landlord is doing is legal. If there is something wrong with the contract or they are breaching it - a good solicitor will be able to tell you.

Also don?t feel threatened by the prospect of going to court.As they may make a decision in your favour.Two weeks is not enough time to give someone notice which could result in them losing their home and business.
